Thank you for your interest in staying at the WindWalker and for visiting our website! We recently purchased this condo (June 2022) and are excited to continue to rent it.
If you love the beach as much as we do, you will fall in love with this condo at the Windjammer. The views are beyond breathtaking. There's something about the ocean that feels like your blood pressure just instantly drops!
We will be doing some updates to the unit this winter (don't worry - we aren't changing sleeping arrangements!) Think new decor, paint, and appliance updates ~ the goal being modern coastal cottage oasis vibes. We will update our pictures as we continue to make progress, so stay tuned for updates!

The most beautiful direct oceanfront views you can ever imagine! Do you want to vacation where you have great ocean views, sunrises and sunsets, access to the beach which is 50 feet away, and the owner lives locally, keeping a close eye on updates and repairs? We want you to feel like our condo is equipped like your own home, with updates in rugs and furniture. There is more kitchen serveware, dishes, and glasses than you will ever need! And who wants to cram beach equipment in an already over packed car? We supply four beach chairs for your use in the private owner closet on the parking/beach. An added bonus to the Windjammer complex is an elevator so you don’t have to haul everything up the stairs. Secure WiFi is complementary - download as much reading material and music as your heart desires. The ocean views and convenience speak for themselves!
Just a few of our recent updates:
- Brand new 50" TCL Roku Smart TVs in living room and master bedroom
- New paint and decor throughout (2023)
- New luxury vinyl floors throughout, including the bedrooms
- Queen sleeper sofa provides 2 additional sleeping spaces
- kitchen granite countertops and tile back splash as well as bathroom granite countertops
- All new luxurious pillow top mattresses added in 2021 - meaning you don't have to worry about a good nights sleep! Not to mention the blackout curtains (in addition to wooden blinds) in both bedrooms that gives the whole sleeping in while on vacation actual meaning!
- In 2018, we replaced the tubs and added new tile in both bathrooms
We know that everyone works hard to be able to enjoy their vacation time. We want you to be able to come here and feel like you have everything you need so it's that immediate R&R feeling on day 1. That's why we are continually improving and updating; we live in ocean isle so every Saturday I get excited to take over something new!
Come stay a while! Would you like to stay a month in the off season? If you've never experienced OIB in the off season and have the. opportunity to - we would highly recommend it! The traffic and liveliness quiets down & the pure calmness that comes with it is absolutely incredible. The month of February is $2,500 and the month of March is $3700 (taxes and cleaning not included). Now a little about Ocean Isle Beach - it's a family beach. Once you cross the bridge and all you can see is the water and all you can smell is the ocean air, it is instant bliss. Leave your worries on the other side of the bridge - it's impossible not too! With mild season changes, Ocean Isle Beach is the perfect location for year-round vacationing. Activities are limitless whether you are looking for seashells, golfing, dining, fishing, shopping, turtle and dolphin watching or night-time crabbing. That doesn't even begin to cover it all! If you want to leave the island, you will find limitless golf, or in 45 minutes, you are in Myrtle Beach with outlet shopping. Ten minutes from the condo is Calabash, the seafood capital of the world and the best you will ever have! Like to cook? You can also pick up fresh shrimp (they'll peel & devein it for you!) and fish from Captain Jacks, our favorite seafood market! Like watching boats come in on the intracoastal? Check out the OIFC tiki bar thats open air. Better yet, the Isles has an ocean front tiki bar - the Tipsy Turtle - and quick bites within a 5 minute beach walk!
